Rice Paddy Herb is a tropical flowering plant in the family Plantaginaceae. It known by all these names: Limnophila aromatica, Ngo Om, ngo ohm, ma om and Limnophila chinensis. It is native to Southeast Asia, where it flourishes in hot temperatures and grows most often in watery environments, particularly in flooded rice fields. Rice paddy herb requires a lot of moisture and heat.
The herb is used in some asian soups, dishes, and salads.

It is not uncommon to find a few brown/bent leaves upon arrival. This is normal and does not affect the plant in any way. Just prune off the affected leaves and your plant will be just fine.
