Chilean Myrtle Berry

Known as “Luma Apiculata” in North America. It is the most gorgeous species in the myrtle family. It has delicate and fragrant waxy foliage, contorted, muscular orange trunks, and peeling bark. This species is fast growing and can reach 30 feet in warm and hot climates but can be kept in manageable size by pruning.  The beautiful and abundant flowers are followed by deep purple myrtle berries and it is perfect for eating, jams, smoothies or great for cheesecake.
